So, I was taking a look at your cells, and it seems after the attack you suffered, your damage is different from others. You've experienced more damage than other people. I'd like you to come in and have more tests.
The difference between samples then and when you first arrived are significant when compared with other people that were attacked. It's worth looking into.
[Scott's talk with Sideswipe inspired him to ask this mysterious Jane Shepard out. The MID game, Red Thread, had randomly generated someone for him to 'court' who happened to look a lot like her and after seeing her on the directory later that day, he decides to give it a shot.]
So we don't know each other, but I'm Scott. Scott Lang. I wanted to see if you might wanna join me for a drink sometime.
Hey there, It's me. It's us. This is never going to get old.
I know this is a long shot, but you wouldn't happen to have a set of body armor I could borrow? Looking to go ashore but I'd prefer to have more protection than the thermals offer.
I've got my armor, and I'm happy for you to use it [more like she assumes that since Shepard's asking, Shepard would say yes if she was asked, so now she has to aaaaargh not happy at all], but I need to ask you a favor too.
Long story short, I have cellular damage from a monster attack several months ago. The symptoms haven't hit yet but it's only a matter of time before I start to deteriorate.
The Indogene doctor, Meh Yewll, says she can fix it with a cell sample from someone with the same DNA as me but undamaged cells. I thought I was screwed, and then you showed up.
Could you please give her some hair clippings, or go in for a cheek swab? It would help a lot.
Please don't tell Tali or Nihlus about this. I didn't want them to worry.
Yikes. Sorry to hear that, but then I'm glad I arrived when I did. I guess we're bound to run in to dangers like that in a completely unknown universe. All the more reason for armor. Are you free right now?
I'll drop by and let Doctor Yewll get what she needs when I get back from the station. I got in contact with her myself about the mystery medical records, and promised I'd drop her off a copy of mine if they showed up. I'm admittedly a little curious about them myself.
continued from December 2016 event [She turns around to flash a grin at her, but it's not at the irony. It's the thought that even after death, a version of her could vastly inconvenience Shepard. A huge bureaucratic headache's an achievement of sorts.
[Apparently she didn't turn around carefully enough to account for her shoulder, because she has to wince and rub at her neck with her free hand for a moment.
[When she speaks again, it's quieter, the faint flush of achievement gone.]
[She raises an eyebrow, shaking her head as she continues to rifle through the crate's contents, fishing out a spool of wire.] Try not to look too pleased with yourself — you turned down the chance to watch it all unfold in person.
[Loading spools of wire (several; almost all the box contained) into her rucksack, she looks up again when her clone quietens, questions, almost hesitantly.]
She went quietly, so as far as I know? Lockup. I put in a request for counselling after I got a peak at her records, but no idea if it went through, or where she ended up. [Shepard shrugs, expression wry.] Not a lot of time to do a follow-up before everything went to hell.

I'm fine, I guess. Nice to be off the planet, but we didn't need the stowaways.

What for?
[Celebration of accomplishments, acceptable purpose for drinks. Aimless socialization, pointless.]

And no problem. We can keep it between us.

It moves around sometimes. But it's not hurting or visibly deteriorating.
Why do you ask?
Re: text
It seems unusual.
I'd like you to come in so I could compare it to images of the older one. I want to keep an eye on it.
